Managed infrastructure service provider Unitas Global has chosen Equinix to provide data center services to support its global expansion plans.

The client will use Equinix data centers in Singapore and Sydney, which is going to enable it to reach cloud-service providers and enterprise customers already at Equinix data centers in the Asia-Pacific region.

Aioi Nissay choses CoreLink in Chicago
Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Company of America will use CoreLink’s Chicago data center to host some of its US infrastructure. CoreLink will provide hosting and disaster-recovery support to the property and casualty insurance company.

CoreLink’s new client is an affiliate of the Japanese insurance company Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Company Limited.

Golden Frog expands with Data Foundry
Online services provider Golden Frog has selected Data Foundry’s data center in Austin, Texas, to house its VyprVPN server. This expands the relationship between the two companies, as Golden Frog already uses Data Foundry to host infrastructure for its online storage offering Dump Truck.

Addition of the Austin server gives the company’s customers another VPN server option in the US for better speed and security.

Two new clients for IO in Phoenix
Online travel company BookIt.com has signed a contract with IO to use the IO Anywhere modular data center solution to host its infrastructure at IO’s facility in Phoenix.

IO will provide the company with its Data-Center-as-a-Service (DCaaS) solution. Iain Saxton, VP of technology at BookIt.com, said the company chose IO because of the provider’s ability to deliver a rapidly-scalable data center solution.

Web-services firm BlueChannel became another new client for IO’s DCaaS offering in Phoenix. The client company’s president Paul DeCrette, said BlueChannel was switching to IO after eight years with its previous data center provider.

“We promise our customers a world-class hosting experience and are confident that IO's world-class data center infrastructure will help us deliver on our commitment,” DeCrette said.
