Details about the data center - its location, size or capacity, have not been shared. DCD has contacted Kingdee for more information.

Kingdee will provide cloud services from the data center.

iSoftStone will also work with Kingdee to provide digital solutions to its global customers from the data center.

As reported by Sina, Zhang Yong, president of Kingdee Group, said: "Kingdee will be based in Singapore and radiate Southeast Asia, helping Chinese companies to go global, deeply cultivate the local market, and serve global companies."

Yong added that Chinese companies looking to go abroad will need "professional digital service support in overseas factory construction, supply chain management, data compliance management, and financial and tax compliance. As a well-known domestic enterprise management software provider, Kingdee follows the footsteps of customers to go overseas and can better meet their global business management needs."

The data center has been set up to help Kingdee meet local data storage and processing regulations. The company is planning to eventually develop a complete project delivery partner system and expand the Southeast Asian market through its Singapore company. It has other localized teams in Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and other companies.

Among Kingdee Sinapore's customers is Taoyuan, a meat food processing company with its data deployed in Singapore. It has used the Kingdee Singapore data center to help standardize its internal management and improve its inventory visualization.

The unveiling of the Singapore data center was conducted jointly with iSoftStone and attended by the likes of Huang Mingliang, the director of the Singapore Economic Development Board, and senior executives from the likes of Microsoft and Amazon Web Services.

Kingdee, a Chinese enterprise management SaaS company, has a customer base of more than 1,000 enterprises across 170 regions and countries.
