Clean Energy Technologies (CETY) has signed a Memorandum of Understating (MoU) with Metis Power to develop advanced microgrid solutions for AI data centers and cryptocurrency mining operations.
Metis is a US-based firm specializing in energy systems, including battery energy storage systems (BESS) and distributed power generation.
CETY will integrate Metis BESS and power generation assets with its microgrid solution to support data centers.
CETY’s microgrid solution integrates waste heat from natural gas turbines with power chillers to reduce cooling costs.
"We are excited to partner with Metis Power to bring cutting-edge microgrid solutions to AI data centers and crypto miners," said Kam Mahdi, CEO of CETY.
CETY has been on a MoU signing spree in the last few months. Earlier this month, it signed an MoU with Freyr to support the delivery of AI and data center services to Southeast Asia.
Freyr will direct client acquisition and manage data center operations, while CETY will provide the necessary Nvidia infrastructure for data center services.
Before this, it announced plans to expand its microgrid solution into the cryptocurrency mining and artificial intelligence data center sectors.
This followed the signing of an MoU with Bitcoin mining firm True North. Under the terms of the MoU, CETY microgrid solutions will be delivered to True North's data centers and cryptocurrency mining operations.
