Customer Relations Management (CRM) solution provider Vertical Solutions has signed up for hosting services by CBTS, the technology solutions division of Cincinnati Bell, which also owns the data center services provider CyrusOne.
CBTS’s hosting services enable Vertical Solutions to give a variety of deployment options to its CRM customers, including private cloud, public cloud or a combination of both. Ron Wegmann, Vertical Solutions CEO, said, “Many cloud-based CRM providers want to push their customers into a one-size-fits-all solution, but VSI knows that our customers need flexibility.”
Customers in the Americas, Europe and Australasia can now access Vertical Solutions’ services through CBTS.
CBTS is a provider of cloud services to enterprises. Vertical Solutions is using its Virtual Data Center services, which gives it cloud-based compute, storage and network resources it can consume as utility services.
Cincinnati Bell is an integrated-communications company that has massive network infrastructure assets and many data centers in the US, Europe and Asia.
The company bought its colocation business, CyrusOne, in May 2010. In February of this year, it said it was considering a spin-off of CyrusOne through a sale, a public offering or “other transaction”.
