Other investors include Teachers' Venture Growth, TVS Capital, 360 ONE, and Nexus.

The debt and equity will be used to finance the purchase and deployment of more than 20,000 GPUs in India. Neysa and Blackstone will reportedly work together to help accelerate the company's growth.

In a LinkedIn post, Neysa's CEO, Sharad Sanghi, said: "Today is an important milestone for Neysa. Private equity funds affiliated with Blackstone have entered into definitive agreements to lead a $1.2 billion capital commitment to our company, alongside other co-investors.

"When we started Neysa, our belief was simple: India would need production-grade AI infrastructure built and operated at scale within its own regulatory framework. That need is now visible across enterprises, research institutions, and public systems as AI moves into core operations... The work ahead is about execution, resilience, and long-term platform building."

This is not the first time reports have emerged that Neysa and Blackstone were in talks, with Blackstone previously said to be exploring buying a stake in the neocloud in November.

Blackstone has previously invested in AI cloud providers CoreWeave and Firmus, with the latter securing $10bn earlier this month from the investment firm.

Neysa was founded in 2023. In April 2025, the company revealed it was teaming up with NTT Data and the Telangana government to establish a 400MW GPU cluster in the country. In total, that was said to comprise 25,000 GPUs, though the type was unspecified.

Mumbai-based Neysa raised around $50m prior to the latest round. It claims to offer access to Nvidia H100s and L40s, but hasn’t shared where its infrastructure is hosted. Many of the company’s leadership team were previously at NTT/Netmagic.
