The Bill on Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS ) Digital Data Centre has gone through the first reading at Nigeria's National Assembly.
While announcing this, Chairman of CSCS Limited, Apostle Hayford Alile said the CSCS Digital Data Storage and Retrieval Centre, the new business line of the company, which was officially launched in December 2005 was being used by a large number of clients.The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) was the first to patronise it.
Alile said a bill seeking the regulation of thedata centre which was sponsored by the CSCS had gone through the first reading. "We hope that if the bill goes through, it will further boost the patronage of the CSCS Digital Data Centre," he said.
