Belgacom's ICT Data Center in Belgium has signed a deal with AccelOps for use of its integrated data center monitoring solution to help its hosting customers monitor their clouds services.

AccelOp's data center and cloud service monitoring software will be delivered as a virtual appliance of software-as-a-service and allows monitoring of both the network infrastructure and data center as well as cloud environments, looking at service, performance, availability, security and change management.

Belgacom ICT has 200 enterprise customers, and it says this new offering will allow these to view all network devices, systems, applications performance and event-correlated activity.

This will enable the team to optimize resources, better pre-empt issues to increase availability and maintain SLA commitments and expedite root-cause analysis.
