The following content is from an older version of this website, and may not display correctly. The Government of Chubut in Argentina and residents using its systems have been affected by Internet outages the government said could be caused by equipment problems in the data center.
According to Diario Jornada de Patagonia, the regional government covering an area to the south of Argentina in Patagonia has filed a claim with Telef├│nica relating to the outage.
The outages occurred on Monday, 10 January.
The report said that the problems could have stemmed from telecommunications equipment.
