Indonesian electric motorcycle company Alva has selected Google Cloud as its primary cloud service provider.
The company plans to use Google Cloud's artificial intelligence (AI) optimized infrastructure for innovation across R&D, customer service, productivity, and marketing, as reported by TechNode.
“Google Cloud’s data cloud and AI technology are critical to helping us derive data-backed insights that will inform R&D and experiences at every touchpoint in the customer journey, ultimately accelerating the adoption and demand for electric vehicles,” said Purbaja Pantja, CEO of Alva.
The company plans to integrate data silos across the company in BigQuery, Google's data platform, including enterprise resource planning data, and Internet of Things (IoT) sensors on its two-wheelers. Additional sources of data will include Google Ads, Google Maps, and Android Auto.
Alva will also look into generative AI capabilities for its marketing teams, for both insights and to generate content customized to the audience.
“The automotive industry is undergoing a fundamental shift as markets strive to achieve carbon neutrality, and we’re excited to be supporting green mobility leaders like Alva as they continue to push the boundaries of innovation to meet their customers’ evolving requirements,” said Fanly Tanto, country director, Indonesia, Google Cloud.
“Our collaboration with Alva is a great demonstration of how leading-edge data analytics and AI can help businesses stay ahead of disruption. Working together, we’re proud to be able to help boost Indonesia’s broader transition to electric vehicles in alignment with national goals to reduce emissions.”
Alva is a new brand from Ilectra Motor Group and part of PT Indika Energy Tbk, the leading diversified energy company in Indonesia.
