David Weinstein, CEO of Renovaro, said: "By utilizing Nebul's data centers, we can accelerate our program to develop an urgently needed improved diagnostic test for lung cancer, which is ultra-sensitive enough to detect minimal residual disease (MRD). Unmanaged MRD inevitably leads to patient relapse, so early intervention is believed to be critical in maximizing durable response rates.

Weinstein added: "Renovaro's deep learning AI models require high-performance computing power, secure infrastructure, and reliable scalability. Nebul will provide us with these elements. With their purpose-built data centers and full-stack private AI support, Nebul delivers the power and flexibility we need to develop and deploy deep learning solutions. Their focus on privacy and hands-on expert support makes them the ideal partner for advancing AI in a clinical environment.”

Nebul is a European private AI cloud provider based in Leiden, South Holland. According to the company's LinkedIn page, it was founded in 2022. Via its AI cloud, Nebul offers Nvidia platforms including DGX, HGX, OVX, and RTX with GPUs including B200, H200, H100, L40s, and L4.

The neocloud raised €20 million ($22.7m) in a June 2024 funding round.

Details about Nebul's data center footprint are sparse, but the company states it uses "efficient green energy data centers" that are "located strategically across the European continent."
