AI lab Ineffable Intelligence has selected Google Cloud as its preferred cloud partner.

Under the agreement, Ineffable will use Google Cloud compute capacity to train its "superlearner" - an artificial intelligence system that can theoretically learn continuously from its own experience.

Ineffable will deploy "one of the largest" clusters of A5X bare-metal instances, which are powered by the Nvidia Vera Rubin NVL72 GPUs.

Nvidia's Vera Rubin is the chip designer's latest generation of AI compute, with deployments beginning to roll out. Microsoft and CoreWeave have both claimed to be the first to deploy the system.

According to the company, the requirements of its superlearner differ significantly from AI models using static datasets, and the systems need to generate, evaluate, and then learn from experience in real time, which requires large-scale compute and high-performance networking.

The exact number of GPUs set to be deployed on Google Cloud by Ineffable has not been disclosed.

Ineffable Intelligence is a UK-based AI company. In April 2026, it received backing from the UK government's Sovereign AI fund. The company raised $1.1 billion in its seed funding round.
