ACS plans to run an unspecified smaller number of data centers across Europe.
Nlyte was deployed at ACS' 'flagship data center in Telford in England which opened in March' this year in an effort to comply with the UK's Carbon Reduction Commitment efficiency scheme.
The firm's client base uses ACS for data center and IT services.
"As part of our plan to deliver IT services to our customers in the most effective and environmentally sustainable way, we decided that we needed a data centre infrastructure management tool" said Alan Brooks, Managing Director, UK ITO Operations, ACS.
The plan is to use nlyte Software to help manage the EMEA-wide consolidation and migration project and to retro-fit the solution alongside other new power management technologies, into the consolidated EMEA data centre estate.
