AboveNet connected its newly-upgraded low latency network to Options Datacentres, a London-based provider.

Options Datacentres clients are in insurance, banking, healthcare, IT/Cloud and governmental sectors, and is now connected to AboveNet's international private optical network and extensive fibre footprint for high bandwidth connectivity.

AboveNet runs a portfolio of metro Ethernet, WDM, long haul and IP transit services, in Europe and the US with connections to more than 450 data centers. Its infrastructure includes more than 2.3 million fibre miles, an intercity network spanning approximately 13,000 route miles and a global Tier 1 IP backbone.
