365 Data Centers is teaming up with AI Edge platform provider Robot Network to bring private cloud AI services to customers.
The solution will be hosted within 365's cloud platform and will support small-language models, analytics, reporting, business intelligence, custom capabilities, and cost optimization.
The offering will use 365's data center infrastructure, and will enable 90 percent of workloads to be handled in the data center while only leveraging high-density AI "at the cores" at the Edge as needed. According to the companies, this will enable AI workloads to run securely at rack densities between 10-50kW.
“Our objective is to meet AI where colocation, connectivity, and cloud converge,” said Derek Gillespie, CEO of 365 Data Centers. “This platform will provide seamless integration and economies of scale for our customers and partners, giving them access to AI that is purpose-built for their business initiatives.”
“We’re excited to partner with 365 Data Centers to bring this unique offering to market,” added Jacob Guedalia, CEO of Robot Network. “365 is a forward-thinking partner with best-in-class colocation capabilities and deep operational expertise. By leveraging their infrastructure together with our proprietary stack – optimized for AMD Epyc processors and Nvidia GPUs – we’re delivering a trusted platform that helps customers unlock the full potential of AI. Our system harnesses small AI models from market-leading firms such as Meta, OpenAI, and Grok to make advanced AI accessible and affordable for millions of enterprises.”
Founded in 2014 and initially comprising a group of data centers built by Switch and Data, today 365 operates more than 20 facilities across the US with around 53MW of capacity. The company is primarily focused on smaller markets outside the usual Tier 1 hubs, including in Alpharetta (GA), Aurora (CO), Boca Raton (FL), Bridgewater (NJ), Buffalo (NY), Carlstadt (NJ), Chicago (IL), Commack (NY), Detroit (MI), Fort Lauderdale (FL), Herndon (VA), Nashville (TN), Marlborough (MA), Philadelphia-University City (PA), Philadelphia Downtown (PA), New York City (NY), Rancho Cordova (CA), Richardson (TX), Smyrna (GA), and Tampa (FL).
365 was bought by Stonecourt Capital in 2020 from Chirisa Investments, Lumerity, and Longboart, who had acquired the company in 2017.
In October 2025, co-founder and former CEO Bob DeSantis retired.
