Since the first annual DCD>Jakarta event in 2013, we have organized the market-leading conference for the Indonesian data center industry. Last year we brought together 750+ senior executives with over $1 trillion worth of data center builds, and we are committed to continuing our support in this exciting period of growth.

Given the travel restrictions in place, and taking into serious consideration the health and safety of all those involved, we have decided to reschedule this year's event to Tuesday 14 July 2020 (originally scheduled for 15 April). The decision has been reached with the support of all our partners and we are confident this will enable the best possible learning and networking environment for the industry, allowing the event to follow up on the 22.8% growth from the previous year.

Tom Winter, Asia-Pacific Managing Director at DCD, expressed that by rescheduling the event, we have been able to both 'fulfil our duty of care to all involved and deliver the strongest event possible for attendees and partners, building upon the 2019 success'. He added that, 'our events across South-East Asia continue to grow and develop. In particular in Jakarta with 60+ MW of data center space scheduled to open this year, the DCD Jakarta event is crucial in encouraging this growth and championing the region's data center industry'.

Increased media calendar in build-up to the event

To support the ongoing knowledge-sharing and best-practice dissemination across the region, we have developed an expanded calendar of webinars, newsletters and discussions for our community to take part in. Tom Winter highlighted that, 'our fast growing web traffic, media portfolio and online events for the region will continue to drive engagement and interaction for our Asia-Pacific readers across H1'. This will continue to evolve over the next few weeks with, for example, webinars featuring Tom Duncan, Executive Director at CBRE, and Christopher Street, EVP Market Development at Princeton Digital Group, as well as a bi-weekly Asia-Pacific Newsletter.

With this extensive online calendar and a growing annual event in Jakarta, we ensure our sustained support of the Indonesian data center market and indeed, the Asia-Pacific market as a whole.
