Santiago is member of The Green Grid and the European Code of Conduit, Promoter of the first TierIV Certification of a Neutral Data Center in Spain carried out by Uptime Institute, as well as the first M&O certification also by Uptime. Last but not least Santiago is a member of the Data Center Association in Spain (SpainDC).

Born and raised in Mexico and passionate about coaching and growing talent in the Technology Industry, Angie has more than 20 years of experience in supply chain and procurement and throughout her career she has helped organizations and customers save billions of dollars in terms of supply chain optimizations, cost efficiencies and value engineering efforts mainly in this space.

Henry pioneered the modular data center concept by founding from scratch in 1999 AST MODULAR, which grew globally establishing manufacturing plants in Barcelona, Shanghai and Miami. AST became a market leader, signing clients such as IBM, HPE, Chevron, Intel, Airbus, etc. AST was successfully sold to Schneider Electric in 2014.

Previously, in 1993 Henry founded a JV with EFI Electronics Inc. and developed the international business for the group in over 50 countries, founding subsidiaries in EMEA, Asia Pacific and LATAM. Henry sold his company successfully back to EFI Electronics in 1997.

Jorge Moreno, with over 15 years in the energy sector, is currently Mercadona’s Energy Purchasing Manager. He has been part of the company since 2019 and is also the leader of Mercadona’s photovoltaic project, which will be completed next year with 250 MW installed on the rooftops of their stores across Spain and Portugal. Previamente, y desde 2022, desempeñó el rol de VP Global de Servicios Gestionados en Equinix, tras haber sido director general de Equinix España desde 2018. En su currículum también destaca su papel como cofundador de Spain DC, la Asociación Española de Data Centers, de la que ejerció su presidencia entre 2021 y 2023.

Siempre vinculado al mundo de la tecnología, con el paso de los años ha ido orientando su carrera hacia los servicios digitales, con el foco en la interconexión, el fomento y el acceso a la nube y el tratamiento de datos. Anteriormente, como Gerente de la UTE ha desarrollado las funciones de dirección y control de la empresa (UTE CPD Alcalá) cuyo principal objeto ha sido desarrollar el Diseño, Construcción y Puesta en marcha del Data Center Telefónica de Alcalá de Henares.

Además durante su trayectoria profesional ha ejercido en los distintos puestos de línea relacionados con el sector de la construcción, (Gerente de Obras, Jefe de Obra y Jefe de Producción).

Como Gerente de obras, la principal función ha sido la de supervisar a los diferentes equipos de obras, motivando a los mismos para conseguir la máxima productividad, garantizando la calidad y el trato con el cliente, al mismo tiempo que desarrollaba labores comerciales tanto con los clientes existentes, así como en la búsqueda de nuevos clientes, con el ánimo de contratar nuevos proyectos.

Como jefe de obra ha sido responsable de la gestión general de la obra, tanto en sus aspectos técnicos como económicos y administrativos, poseyendo plena competencia para la toma de decisiones.

Toda esta trayectoria profesional, así como la titulación académica le ha permitido estar en condición de aportar en el sector especializado de los Data Center, la racionalidad suficiente que permita diseñar, construir y operar los CPDs del futuro.

Pieter Schaap is Soben’s Group Development Director. In his role, he is responsible for all workstreams associated with data centre project development, from pre-construction and construction to commissioning and operations. Working with a select group of influential global DC developers and operators, Pieter has been involved in some of today's most impactful data centre schemes around the globe.

Besides his data centre responsibilities, Pieter is a global sustainability leader, and at Soben, the subject matter specialist for all decarbonisation initiatives. Making sustainability affordable is always at the top of Pieter’s priorities and with a direct reporting line to the CEO, Pieter has helped Soben become a market leader in the data centre consultancy space.

Prior to Soben, Pieter was Supply Chain Director at Yondr Group, his first experience in the data centre industry after he worked in the oil & gas sector for over a decade, including various international postings.

Rafael Serrano Gonzalez is Senior Consultant for Uptime Institute since 2014, and Business Development Director for Spain and Portugal since 2018. He works with global and local clients, performs assessments, operational sustainability, and operations certifications, and he is an ATS and AOS courses instructor. Gonzalez has extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. With Telefónica, Gonzalez led the real estate department in Spain for 15 years, covering asset management, projects, maintenance, and operation throughout the corporate portfolio. Gonzalez was the Head of the Global Data Center in the IT Transformation project and data center consolidation. His responsibilities included the design model, requirements, project planning, work, and operation.

Gonzalez is an Architect in both building and urban planning and won a Fulbright scholarship to achieve his Master’s in architectural design at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) as well as Research at Columbia University in New York.

Saúl Varela is a Senior Mining Engineer (1998) and Expert in Energy Audits (1999) from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Sherif Rizkalla currently serves as Managing Director of Enterprise Colocation for STACK EMEA and President of IDA, Italy's first non-profit association uniting data center manufacturers and operators. From 2022 to 2024, Sherif was CEO of STACK Infrastructure Italy and Switzerland.

Sherif was appointed CEO of Supernap Italia in 2019, following a successful tenure as Senior Vice President of Marketing for the Enterprise Business Unit at Du, the UAE's leading mobile and fixed telephone operator. In this role, he drove the growth of Du's telecom and ICT business within the UAE enterprise market, expanding both market share and service offerings.

Before his time at Du, Sherif was Marketing Director for the B2B market at Wind Tre SpA, following the merger of Wind Telecomunicazioni and H3G Italy. Joining Wind in 2009, he held several senior leadership roles, including Procurement Director, Marketing Director for the Large Enterprise sector, and Head of Sales and Marketing for the Large Enterprise Business.

Earlier in his career, Sherif spent 12 years at Alcatel-Lucent, where he held various roles in sales, marketing, and solution architecture across Italy and the Middle East. He also gained significant international experience in France, where he led the Broadband Division's Client Projects, and in the United States, where he began his career as a network engineer.
