As Indonesia accelerates its economic and digital transformation, the intersection of policy, sustainable infrastructure, and international investment has never been more important. This Ministerial Welcome Address will set the stage for DCD>Connect | APAC by outlining Indonesia’s strategic role in the global digital infrastructure ecosystem and its ambition to become a leading regional destination for data center investment.
Bringing together perspectives from the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology and the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime and Investment Affairs, the session will explore how government policy, project structuring, connectivity, and sustainable energy are shaping the next phase of Indonesia’s digital backbone. With demand for cloud, AI, and data-driven services rising across Southeast Asia, the address will highlight the opportunities and priorities required to build resilient, scalable, and sustainable digital infrastructure for the region.
