Major Panel: How are new workloads changing data center design and engineering infrastructure requirements?

The densification of the average data center workload has been on the rise for a number of years now given the growing use of artificial intelligence, HPC, quantum computing and new computing paradigms on the horizon such as the Metaverse and ChatGPT. The trend has sparked new discussion around the 're-tooling, redesigning and revamping' which will need to take place on everything from site selection and design and build to facility operations, as the traditional data center footprint evolves.

In this panel, we will discuss the drivers behind the newest iteration of the dense computing paradigm shift, its growing impact on new design and engineering parameters and the type, size and design of data center likely to prevail as a result.
