The Green Grid (TGG) has partnered with the U.S. EPA to create a survey to support the EPA’s update of the EPA’s 1-100 ENERGY STAR scoring methodology for data centers. TGG has completed the research and development of the survey which includes energy and water usage, as well as other factors. The survey will be officially distributed during Q2 2023.

Join this session to learn more about the list of operating characteristics to be surveyed to facilitate an updated ENERGY STAR Score for data centers by the EPA. The session will also provide information on the development of a new multi-dimensional holistic metric: Data Center Resource Effectiveness (DCRE) and reveal and review the DCRE factors being used beyond energy usage and efficiency, such as water consumption, relative to climate, and infrastructure resiliency levels.
