AI at scale: Why no one can do it alone
– EDT
Speakers: Katie Boeh, Zoe Turner, Jacqueline Davis
AI is reshaping the demands placed on digital infrastructure, making successful deployment as much an orchestration challenge as a technology challenge. As AI workloads scale and move beyond centralised environments, organisations must navigate constraints around power, cooling, operational complexity, security and performance while determining where and how infrastructure should evolve. No single organisation, technology or deployment model can address these challenges in isolation.
During this Innovation Day, speakers will explore how the AI infrastructure ecosystem is evolving across three interconnected areas: the partnerships needed to deliver AI at scale; the choices enterprises face between cloud, colocation, new builds and existing facilities; and the shift towards distributed AI and edge inference. From overcoming power and cooling bottlenecks and balancing experimentation with long-term infrastructure planning, to enabling autonomous buildings, digital twins, robotics and industrial automation, the series will examine what it takes to build resilient, flexible and AI-ready infrastructure for the next phase of deployment.
