This episode will be available to stream at 11am ET.

The data center infrastructure coming online across EMEA will need to serve a broader mix of deployments than many facilities have historically supported. Upcoming developments like those at the MAD 1 facility must account for higher densities and changing compute requirements while giving operators room to respond as the market develops. This raises a longer-term question around how infrastructure plans should evolve when the requirements they need to serve are still taking shape. Drawing on the experience at Madrid 1, we consider how NTT GDC can apply these insights to its future facilities and infrastructure plans across EMEA. Topics of discussion include:

  • How the changing mix of hyperscale, Neocloud and enterprise deployments could shape future infrastructure plans
  • What current high-density requirements at Madrid 1 are revealing about the design of upcoming developments
  • Where greater flexibility may be needed within future data center infrastructure
  • How operators can plan new availability without committing too early to assumptions about future requirements
