Life after COP26 - how will Europe’s energy shock affect our green ambition?
As the cost of gas and energy continue to soar across Europe, the energy crunch is showing no signs of slowing down. According to RE-Source, PPAs to buy solar and wind energy have surged by over 70% with 6.1 GW of energy purchased in 2021 compared to 3.6 GW in 2020, reflecting a boost in demand for price stability at a time when supply cannot keep up.
