Panel: Can the digital infrastructure industry realistically address its inherent diversity issue?
There has been little change in the data center sector in the past five years in terms of female representation. With one fifth of data centers believed to not employ any women at all, the female workforce remains a huge potential pool of talent that can bridge the skills gap at a time when the data center sector is under an unprecedented amount of pressure in terms of non-stop construction, technology innovation and need to meet sustainability goals.
The most successful organizations are those that ensure they have access to a wide breadth of talent, and have wide-ranging and diverse perspectives amongst their people. In this episode, industry experts will consider what is holding the sector back, and what can be changed. What practical steps do data centers need to take to make a real change in the critical infrastructure workforce? And how can data centers be an attractive place to build long-term careers?
