In this presentation Andy Lawrence, the Executive Director of Research for The Uptime Institute, will explore some of the issues and the claims around resiliency, availability and risk in complex, distributed, and cloudy environments.

Drawing on recent examples and research, he will argue that IT operators need to be more vigilant about resiliency issues, and to be attentive in their use of public cloud services.
