Panel: What’s the outlook for skills across Australian and New Zealand data centers? (And is there a Plan B?)
The 'skills shortage' is at or close to the top of the list of concerns in all sectors within the local data center industry. Shortages limit delivery, operations and build and represent a key reason for enterprise companies migrating and colocating.
The experts on this panel will analyse the impact of skills availability on data centers in Australia and New Zealand and how this is likely to trend in the foreseeable future. How will the growth of hybrid, cloud and Edge ecosystems change the skills requirement and the pressure points? What role will evolving management and operational technologies, changes to labour, visa and education strategies take in reducing any impact?
