A guide to understanding top-down DCIM, and why it matters
Standardizing the pathway to the reliable edge
Small modular data centers have close proximity to an outdoor or semi-controlled environment such that opening the outer door of the data center could dramatically impact the temperature, humidity, or air quality of the inlet airstream reaching the IT equipment inside. So how can you use commercial off the shelf IT equipment in an edge data center and still achieve an uptime close to a large brick and mortar data center?
This presentation will share solutions, i.e. a “blueprint”, for protecting the IT equipment from environmental hazards and for preserving manufacturer warranties.
