Fireside chat: Does the advent of AI mean that we need to completely rethink data center design?
This episode will stream live at 10:00am GMT
The increased use of HPC and AI has provided a catalyst for widespread design evolution of data centers, with densities of up to 30kW per rack. Although designs are being adapted and buildings retrofitted in order to meet demand, is the sector doing enough to plan for and build the data center of the future?
In this episode, speakers will explore how data center design needs to adapt now in order to incorporate higher density workloads, and what long-term planning could look like. Are there any technologies or innovations that will enable the data center of the future? How can designers overcome the problem of meeting greater capacity demands but with potentially the same building footprint? Critically, speakers will explore how design innovation can be balanced with risk management & standardisation for a balanced approach to construction.
