Indirect emissions, the data center and the supply chain: how can we turn transparency from burden to benefit?
With 90% of the Fortune 100 reporting to use the GHG protocol, the need to decarbonize the supply chain is in clear focus for all manner of businesses as it is often the largest proportion of a firm’s carbon footprint.
Given the vast and complicated nature of measurement, the ability to track over time and reporting, indirect emissions are often overlooked and underreported. As such, we ask our panel to discuss how they are engaging with the protocol, which actions they are taking to ‘green’ their supply chains and turn reporting from a burden to a point of differentiation and demonstrable impact.
