I'd love to see what the N Dakota communities have to say about the data centers. The residents of Brookwood and of the regional area feel like this deal was done in secret by the city government. There is anger in the community over this. Residents don't want the construction activities, and the permant changes to their environment. There is concern for the local watershed. They generally express in community meetings and on social media that temporary "1,000 jobs" will go to out-of-state contractors. The supposed 100 permanent jobs doesn't seem any more optimistic. How can we STOP this project? Make it go away, please. The promises made when the Mercedes Benz plant was being started didn't pan out for Brookwood, either.
