UK based telecoms provider Daisy has announced a five year partnership with Virgin Media and will provide professional services and engineering support.

The company said as part of the agreement it will work with the media giant to provide services to its enterprise customer base through project consultancy and professional services support.

Daisy currently owns four data centers within the UK- Manchester, Reading, North London and London Docklands.

The vendor said the agreement is the first milestone in the growth of its partner services division which forms a part of the wholesale business and employs over 250 engineers and support staff for its UK wide service.

Daisy Group's CEO Matthew Riley said moving away from the “declining” fixed-line market is where the company sees opportunity for growth and investment.
