Nacho Velilla
CEO, TemplusNacho Velilla has dedicated more than twenty-five years to digital transformation in the data center sector. He has held the position of CEO at Templus since the company's founding in May 2024. Previously, from 2022, he served as Global VP of Managed Services at Equinix, after having been Managing Director of Equinix Spain since 2018. His resume also highlights his role as co-founder of Spain DC, the Spanish Data Center Association, which he chaired from 2021 to 2023.
Always connected to the world of technology, over the years he has steered his career towards digital services, focusing on interconnection, cloud adoption and access, and data processing. His multidisciplinary background, which includes previous responsibilities in operations and sales departments, among others, provides him with a comprehensive perspective to address the challenges facing the sector.
A Telecommunications Engineer from the University of Alcalá and an Executive MBA graduate from IE Business School, Nacho Velilla has completed the IESE Business School's Board of Directors program and holds a Project Management Professional certification from ESI International. His passion for technology has led him to work as an advisor with startups in diverse sectors such as boat sharing and e-sports.
