UK colo and connectivity firm M247 opened up a second data center in Manchester in England’s north west. It which will house 300 racks. The firm said it can deliver 32 amp A + B to the rack with an N+1 UPS set up.

A design PUE of 1.15 is targeted based on free air with chiller back up. The new site is across the road from M247's existing data center. Chris Byrd, technical director at M247 said: “We have a carrier neutral proposition with 60GB of connectivity capacity including a 10GB direct connection into Amsterdam with full London bypass.“
