Social news aggregation and discussion website Reddit is experiencing a major outage lasting over three hours.

The 19th largest website in the world blamed the downtime on an internal systems issue, beginning 12:18 PDT.

“We’ve identified an internal systems issue and are working to determine a fix," the company said.

At 14:43 PDT, the company said: "We’ve identified a fix which may take some time to implement."

On Twitter, Reddit joked: “Enjoy the productivity. We’ll be up and running again soon.”
