Intel India has leased data center space in a CtrlS Data Centers facility in Bengaluru, India.
The lease will cover a period of three years, starting from July 18, and will provide Intel with 11,536 sq ft (1,072 sqm) in data center space.
According to documents accessed by CRE Matrix, the lease covers space on the first floor of Bangalore DC1 in Electronic City for a rent of $13,505 per month and the seventh floor for $43,713 per month.
The CtrlS website states that DC1, one of the company's hyperscale facilities, has a total capacity of 7MW and 1,800 racks.
CtrlS operates hyperscale data centers across India, including four in Mumbai, one in Bangalore, Kolkata, and Noida, and two in Hyderabad. The company also operates two Edge data centers, one each in Lucknow and Patna.
In January, CtrlS announced that it was planning to triple its data center portfolio by 2025 and has since gone on to announce plans for a 150MW campus in Thailand, and invest $18.1 million in a data center in Odisha, India.
