DatacenterDynamics' London conference will address the impact of the Carbon Reduction Commitment on the UK data centre landscape.

The Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) will have a major impact on the UK data centre industry and during the 8th Annual DatacenterDynamics London conference and expo, which takes place on 10th-11th November 2009, facilities and IT managers will discover how to implement initiatives designed to deliver a corporate-wide carbon reduction strategy as part of their obligations under the CRC.

1200 delegates will attend the conference with 60 case studies and technical seminars and 12 roundtable discussion groups.

Keynote speakers include Paul Boyns, Head of IT and Strategy at the BBC who will examine the impact of content and data demands on investment and specifications for critical infrastructure;Neil Woollam who will examine the role of the data centre as the focal point for organisation-wide carbon reduction at shop direct;

Participants will also have the opportunity to explore the sell-out expo, where more than 50 exhibitors will offer their advice and know-how.

Dr. David Snelling, Director of Energy Research, Fujitsu Laboratories Europe who will deliver a paper on per-service cost, energy and carbon accounting within the cloud;and Bob Harris, Technical Services Director at Telehouse who will steer delegates through the planning challenges and reveals the innovative green engineering strategy required to deliver the Telehouse West Data Centre.
