“Today is a day marked on the calendar for more than a year now, today we inaugurate Titan,” Antonio Nicolás Olmos CTO of Fibra Medios Telecom said on LinkedIn this week.

The 1,400 sqm (15,070 sq ft) facility can host up to 120 cabinets across nine data rooms. It features two fiber entry vaults.

The facility, located on Canal del Taibilla Avenue, is described as a collaboration with cabinet supplier OnSite Telecom/Retex, while Vertiv is also involved in the project to supply UPS systems.

“We are very excited to welcome Titan and be part of the modernization of technology in the region,” said Ángel Miranda, CEO of Titan and Grupo Fibra Medios Telecom.

"This next-generation data center will redefine how critical enterprise data is handled and provide an unprecedented level of security and stability for our customers."

Founded in the 1990s, Fibra provides telecoms services to the provinces of Murcia and Albacete.
