The 800-Volt DC Revolution and Its Impact on Data Center Cooling Strategies

As AI workloads drive single rack densities toward and beyond 500 kW, data center power architectures are evolving. 800-volt DC distribution is emerging as a new frontier. This shift offers efficiency gains and reduced copper requirements, but it also creates unique challenges for thermal management and electrical safety at the rack and chip level.

In this presentation, Dave Meadows from STULZ will explore how this high-voltage future necessitates rethinking cooling strategies. Traditional single-phase liquid direct to chip cooling systems can introduce electrical risk as voltage scales, while two-phase dielectric cooling offers inherent electrical insulation alongside high heat removal performance.

Join this presentation to understand how advanced cooling approaches can enable 800-volt deployments safely and effectively by addressing both performance and risk mitigation in next-generation data centers.

Join our hosts and your peers from across the industry for a sit down, 3-course lunch as we discuss the future of data center cooling and the challenges and opportunities ahead.

This session is by invitation only.
