As Managing Director of the New York office, David leads SDCL’s origination, project development, and transaction structuring activities in the US, with a specific focus on greenfield (new-build) investment opportunities. Prior to his move to the US, David originated and managed investments for SDCL across a number of sectors (including retail, healthcare, hospitality and leisure, datacentres and industrial) for the UK Energy Efficiency Investments Fund, managed by SDCL, and the Ingenious Energy Efficiency EIS fund, advised by SDCL.

David holds a Masters in English and Italian from Edinburgh University and a post-graduate Masters Degree in Media & Communications from the University of London.
