AI-driven rack densities are accelerating the shift toward liquid cooling across India’s next wave of data centre builds. While the technology is proven globally, deploying it at scale in India presents distinct challenges. High ambient temperatures and humidity in key markets, water stewardship expectations, and evolving environmental scrutiny add operational complexity. At the same time, operators must navigate vendor concentration, extended equipment lead times, limited large-scale validation experience, and skills gaps across commissioning and operations. The question is no longer whether liquid cooling works, but whether the ecosystem is ready to support it reliably across new and existing facilities.
