With the substantial growth of AI workloads globally, the SEA and Singapore+ ecosystems are set to host the new generation of DC workloads, which will bring with them challenges and opportunities. Besides, the growth of power-hungry AI workloads has pushed the DC growth to locations that are not as strongly interconnected as the existing hubs. Supply chain, availability and scalability of electricity and water resources, operational capabilities, connectivity, and other challenges are out there for the industry to address. This requires innovation, collaboration, and a forward-looking approach by all the stakeholders.
