The rise of AI and advanced computing is creating unprecedented demand for high-density data centers. While the potential returns are substantial, the path forward is fraught with challenges. Financing these capital-intensive facilities, addressing uncertainties around AI demand, and managing tenant quality are just a few of the critical issues shaping investment decisions. Are the opportunities worth the risks, or is the industry at risk of overestimating growth?

Attendees will gain insights into:

  • Balancing opportunity and risk: Are investors overly optimistic about the profitability of these facilities, or are the risks justified by the potential returns?
  • Tenant reliability: How can operators mitigate risks associated with less established AI tenants while ensuring sustainable growth?
  • Centralized vs. edge: Will ultra-low-latency hosting drive the need for edge deployments, or can centralized data centers accommodate the evolving requirements for inferencing?
