Syed Ahmed is a Managing Director and Head of Digital Infrastructure at Apterra, a direct infrastructure origination platform of Apollo. He is responsible for originating digital infrastructure financings for Apterra in areas including data centers, broadband and mobile towers. Prior to joining Apterra, he was at MetLife Investment Management for 12 years, where he was responsible for originating infrastructure debt investments globally and client management. He holds a BSc in finance from Rutgers Business School and is a CFA charterholder.
