Panel: Is battery innovation the catalyst for balancing resiliency and net zero?
With many organizations having ambitious targets to hit net zero carbon emissions, doing this in a timely and cost-effective manner is critical to business success. This is being conducted in the face of data center customers eating up power faster than operators can expand capacity, due in part to the increased use of AI, and thus data centers are forging new paths toward a more sustainable future. All of this is taking place against a backdrop of rapid growth, while being the support pin for the digital economy that society relies on.
In this session, speakers will deep dive into cost effective and straightforward ways to safeguard data center resiliency and achieve sustainability goals. We will review which construction methods and backup power solutions will have the biggest impact on facilities’ ability to increase efficiency and green credentials. Critically, speakers will discuss whether batteries can be a solution for data centers to accelerate the movement towards net zero.
