Rui is currently General Director of RENTELECOM, the neutral telecoms and datacenter provider part of REN Group, the Portuguese Transmission System Operator for electricity and gas.

Rui always worked in B2B in the telecoms and IT industry with experience in companies such as T-Systems / Deutsche Telekom (Chief Sales and Marketing Officer), NAE (Partner, Spanish leading telecoms consultancy), Oni (Wholesale BU Director) and Marconi (former Portuguese telecom carrier, now Altice). Rui is also invited B2B Sales Management Professor at the School of Economics & Management of the Lisbon University.
