Oliver Menzel
CEO of Maincubes, MaincubesOliver Menzel is the founder and CEO of Maincubes. With more than three decades of experience in the IT and data center industry, he has been instrumental in shaping Maincubes into a leading provider of secure and sustainable colocation solutions across Europe.
Menzel's career began during his university studies, where he co-founded the internet service provider IBS-Net in Braunschweig. In 1998, he joined the Frankfurt-based internet systems house wusys as a systems consultant for key accounts, and by 2001, he had taken over as CEO. In 2012, Oliver founded maincubes.
Under his guidance, Maincubes has expanded its footprint with facilities in Frankfurt, Berlin, and Amsterdam, serving a diverse clientele that includes public sector entities, global enterprises, and cloud service providers. Beyond his role at Maincubes, Menzel contributes his expertise as a Senior Advisor to Digital Transformation Capital Partners (DTCP), supporting the firm's investment strategies in the digital infrastructure sector.
