Applied Product Portfolio Manager, Trane

Lauri Salmia works as an Applied Product Portfolio Manager for Trane Technologies in their Commercial HVAC Trane EMEA & ANZ business unit. He’s responsible for applied air-cooled and water-cooled chillers and heat pumps. Lauri has worked for Trane Technologies for over 13 years, and prior product management role had a long career in engineering and technology, working last as a Technology Leader for Electrical Machines and Drives in a global role. Lauri holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (2008) and a Master of Science degree (2010) in Electrical Drives from Aalto University and an MBA degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (2022) from Aalto University Executive Education. Lauri holds nine patents and several patent applications.
