Donata Guerrini

Strategic Negotiator - Global Infrastructure, Google

Donata began her career in New York, managing large-scale high-rises and data center sites for Skanska in the United States, then moving on to the development of a data center start-up and the commercial and business development direction for Jacobs Engineering. She later joined Google in Europe, as a leading global strategic negotiator for data center and renewable energy projects, supporting Google infrastructure entry plans into new markets in the EMEA regions.

During her career, she has participated as a speaker at international conferences, addressing topics related to technological advancement, data centers infrastructure and sustainability.

In 2021, she won the award as the most talented Italian young manager of the year, while in 2020 she received the international iMasons award, for outstanding contribution to the development of digital infrastructure.

Donata graduated with a master in Civil Engineering from the University “La Sapienza” of Rome, winning scholarships at Cambridge University (UK), the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona (Spain) and the Columbia University in the City of New York (United States), where she obtained a double Master of Science in Construction Management and Real Estate Finance.

Donata is always striving for professional and personal growth as a modus operandi.

She drives continuous development of sustainable technology, with a deep attention to the circular economy and local communities, founding in Google a leading company in the implementation and innovation of zero-impact data technologies and new engineering solutions.

Donata is an active participant in Google global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion effort (DEI), and she was one of the co-founder of Women in Construction in New York. She is part of the Order of Engineers in Rome Italy, where she is an executive member of the “Research, Innovation and Internationalization” technical council.
