Alex Rakow
Director of Sustainability, Data Centers, Schneider ElectricAlex is Sustainability Director for Secure Power and Data Centers at Schneider Electric, where he works with data center operators and partners to advance their sustainability and energy performance through partnership on supply chain decarbonization, power strategy, efficiency, and many other topics. Alex’s background is in energy controls, microgrid development, and strategy consulting. He is the author of two books, “Energy Resilient Buildings and Communities,” and “Powering Through: Energy Resilience from Grid to Government,” both from Rutledge Press. He is co-lead of the Sustainability Project at the Open Compute Project, and co-chair of the Equipment Working Group of the iMasons Climate Accord.
