A multi-million-square-foot data center campus is being proposed outside Atlanta, Georgia.

Via TC Atlanta Development, Inc., CBRE subsidiary Trammell Crow Company has filed a Developments of Regional Impact application with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs for a new development.

Waldrop Farm is set to become a seven-building campus – Google Maps

The application for a project known as Douglas Waldrop refers to a large new campus in the Douglas County community of Winston, southwest of Atlanta.

The project description lists plans for “new light industrial buildings to house data center uses together with associated roads, parking, [and] infrastructure” at 2912 Post Road.

The campus will total 2.255 million sq ft (209,500 sqm) across seven two-story buildings. The first phase of the project will be completed by 2027.

The property owners are listed at Fred and Tommy Waldrop, and MLO Douglasville, LLC. The address is currently home to Waldrop Farm. The farm’s social media pages haven’t mentioned any planned sale or redevelopment.

Trammell Crow Company is a commercial real estate development company owned by CBRE since 2006.

There are no named end customer(s) for the Douglas Waldrop project.

Atlanta is a major data center hub, with a number of developments clustered around Fulton and Douglas Counties.
