Japan-based Nomura Research Institute (NRI) has deployed Oracle Alloy in its data centers.

The consulting service and system solutions provider will now be able to offer its customers more than 100 Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services.

Oracle Alloy launched in 2022 and is a cloud infrastructure platform that enables MSPs to become cloud providers using Oracle technology.

Partners can operate Oracle Alloy independently in their data centers and fully control its operations, thus the partner effectively becomes a regional cloud service provider.

NRI previously migrated its financial Software-as-a-Service solutions to OCI Dedicated Regions in its Tokyo and Osaka data centers in 2022. Following that migration, customers began asking for cloud solutions that could support financial governance and digital sovereignty.

NRI, according to its website, owns and operates three data centers in the Tokyo metropolitan area, and two in Osaka.

Other users of Oracle Alloy include Team IM and Fujitsu.
